ASCEND has worked with the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota to develop educational programs for urban middle schoolers aimed at broadening participation in science. In summer 2024, we launched the Global Change Summer Camp to engage students with the biodiversity around them and help them learn how changing climate and changing environments impact us and the natural world we depend on.
