Aaron Lee

Aaron is a PhD Student in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of Minnesota. He is a botanist interested in the patterns and processes underlying replicated evolution. His work is focused on understanding the evolutionary drivers and correlates of repeated transitions to arid biomes in the family Polygonaceae. He is particularly excited about developing new methods to leverage the big biodiversity data housed in herbarium collections.
